Alexander Reede studied mechanical engineering at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum with a focus on energy and process engineering.

He also gained practical experience in research and development at the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology UMSICHT in a project on solar cooling.

Mr. Reede’s technical areas of expertise, therefore, do not only include the classical areas of general mechanical engineering such as mechanics, construction technology, drive technology and production technology, but also energy technology, process engineering, technical thermodynamics as well as fluid and instrumentation technology.

After graduating with a Master of Science degree in 2013, Mr. Reede joined our firm in 2014 as a patent attorney trainee and has been working in the field of intellectual property since then. Mr. Reede has been admitted to the bars as a German patent attorney and representative before the Office of the European Union for Intellectual Property since 2017 and as a representative before the European Patent Office since 2018.
